Xen Arts is now based in Norfolk and is currently developing working partnerships with various organisations to enable us to provide more opportunities for all.

We run regular weekly classes for different ages and abilities in a variety of settings such as schools, residential homes and community centres. We also deliver dance in the curriculum for both mainstream and SEN schools.
Autumn Moves
During the second lockdown when grandparents were unable to see grandchildren, our Autumn Moves sessions allowed them a way to connect, move and laugh together through shared zoom dance activity.
Dance To Health
Founded by Aesop and currently funded by Age UK Norwich, Dance To Health: the falls prevention dance programme is a nationwide initiative.
Woodspring House
Xen Arts have been delivering seated dance and movement classes in Woodspring House residential home since 2016.
Rural Pulse
Our youth company for 12 - 16yr olds meet weekly to have fun, dance, choreograph and perform at various platforms around the county.
Black History Month
Since 2013 Xen Arts has offered Black History Month workshops in Norfolk.
Youth Dance
Xen Arts runs creative, fun, youth dance classes for children and young people aged 5 - 16yrs. We also have a ‘boys only’ dance group exploring a fusion of dance styles.
Moving Art
Interactive workshops for all ages and abilities exploring the connection between movement and mark-making with Xen Arts and Abby Page Dance.
We Dance 2019
10 weeks of dancing and making music with the community in Hunstanton, Norfolk, celebrating cultures and traditions and joined by the amazing Folk Dance Remixed!
Norfolk Art Exhibitions
In 2012 Xen Arts organised its first Art Exhibition of Zimbabwean art in none other than the sea-side village of Brancaster, Norfolk. The two-day event was a chance to exhibit work by Valentine, Marcus and other artists met on travels to Zimababwe.
Playgrounds & Pastimes
Students from Litcham Primary and Swaffham Over 60’s dance group created a piece by sharing stories, laughing, dancing and getting to know each other!
Tongue Tied?
‘Tongue Tied?’ was an annual fundraiser night that ran from 2008 to 2011. It started after Artistic Director Xenoula went on tour with Tavaziva Dance to Zimbabwe.
